Nestled in the heart of St Peter’s Village in Jersey, Paws Pitstop delivers exceptional dog grooming and unmatched client convenience. Established in 2009 Alexandra Paterson, an industry recognised dog grooming expert with over 15 years of Crufts experience. I was tasked to illustrate Alexa's two favourite breeds (a Fox Terrier and Bedlington) for their branding and logo.
I had lots of inspiration including my own dog walks with friends on Godrevy beach who have Bedlington Terriers and meeting Fox Terriers out on the walks. I then sketched different variations of the dogs and logos. Initially I went for something more traditional looking with letter type. We evolved this into something a little more modern for Alexa's target demographic on Jersey.
